Christmas 2018 Gift Guide: For Her

AD* | I don't know about you, but I can't believe that we're so close to Christmas already! With just over a month left until the big day, I'm seriously starting to think about the gifts I want to get for the special people in my life this year.

So, if you're beginning to worry about finding the perfect gift, I've put together a selection featuring a few of my favourite ideas for her this Christmas. From mouth-watering foodie gifts to novelty stocking fillers, there's sure to be something for everyone!

For the... Free Spirit

Sometimes, the usual just doesn't cut it and something a bit different is needed to bring a smile to that special someone's face. Check out these wonderful gift ideas for the free-spirited girl in your life!

necklace, saffie-bea

A girl can never have too much jewellery, right? Sometimes it's nice to stand out from the crowd and dazzle with a gorgeous statement piece like this magical necklace from Saffie Bea. Their resin jewellery range is handcrafted with high-quality inks to create bespoke one-off pieces of jewellery that are like miniature works of art in their own right! There's a variety of colours, shapes and patterns available, too, so you can easily tailor your gift to her favourites.

get-real-funky, bum-bag, festival, christmas-gift-guide

Ideal for festival-goers, bum bags have always been a staple for those who embrace a more alternative lifestyle. However, they can also be practical and stylish too - it's time to dispel the myth for good! I'm a sucker for galaxy print anything, so the Galaxy Clash Bum Bag from getrealfunky.com was always going to be a firm favourite for me. If galaxy print isn't her thing, be sure to check out the site as they have a wide range of different patterns and designs available.

solar-system, bracelet, leviko-designs

Now, this is one gift that is seriously cool! Ideal for ladies with an interest in space and science, this solar system bracelet from Leviko Designs is guaranteed to spark a conversation wherever she goes. Each planet is represented by a different semi-precious gemstone, from red jasper for Mars to tiger's eye for Jupiter. The delicate bracelet is finished off in the utmost style with beautiful volcanic lava bead meteorites.

For the... Fragrance Obsessed

From the rich scent of Christmas trees to cinnamon, mulled wine and the Christmas turkey slowly roasting away in the oven, the festive period is well known for its unique fragrances. If you know a lady who loves to smell good, these next few gifts could be perfect!

scented-candle, imbue-apothecary

Scented candles are a must for any fragrance-obsessed woman, but why not opt for something a little more unique this Christmas? Give the usual big-name brands a miss and instead, why not try a luxury scented candle from Imbue Apothecary. Featuring a range of candles, each lovingly crafted, there's a great mix of scents to choose from. My personal favourite is IX (bay, pine and sweet orange) but there's also a limited edition festive candle (cinnamon, spruce and orange) that I can't wait to try!

fragrant-oils, new-directions-europe

Fragrances needn't just stick to all the usual scents and essential oils - sometimes, it can be nice to give a gift that's really tailored to the special woman in your life. Maybe she loves cherry cola or is partial to a strawberry daiquiri on a night out. Perhaps she just can't get enough of that wonderful smell of wet earth after it's just rained. Whatever it is, the folk over at New Directions Europe have probably got it bottled up as a fabulous fragrant oil to give this Christmas!

For the... Christmas Queen

We all have that one friend who absolutely loves anything that is even the slightest bit Christmassy - you know the one, that friend who insists on putting her decorations up at the start of November and watches every single festive film ever made on a yearly basis! So, what better to give her at Christmas than something wonderful to add to her festive cheer?

Instead of plumping for more Christmas decorations to add to her ever-expanding collection, a beautiful festive mug is a seasonal and practical gift. After all, winter is the season for plenty of warm drinks and hot chocolate, so it's bound to come in handy! This adorable Christmas mug from the Lovely Little Gifts Co. is simply wonderful, and you can even get it personalised to add that extra special festive touch.

For the... Foodie Fangirl

We all know that Christmas is a time for indulgence, but after a while, the usual selection boxes and chocolate trays can get a little dull. This year, give her the opportunity to truly indulge her taste buds with a foodie delight that is a bit different!

coffee-and-kin, coffee, chocolate, subscription-box

For the girl who loves coffee, there's literally nothing more world-ending than going to make a fresh cup and realising she's out of coffee. This Christmas, you can make sure she never has to face that ordeal again by signing her up for a mouthwatering coffee and chocolate subscription box with Coffee & Kin. Featuring delicious speciality coffee and amazing flavoured chocolate bars, as well as a special surprise gift, this subscription really is an absolute steal at just £20 per box (including free P&P).

cocoa-and-heart, chocolate, christmas-gift-guide

I am absolutely loving the chocolate selection over at Cocoa & Heart - and they're perfect for stocking fillers, too! Each chocolate gift is lovingly handmade in Kent before being packaged up ready to be posted across the UK. My personal favourites are the delicious flavour combination bars, chocolate frog (ideal for Harry Potter fans!), and Hot Chocolate Spoon with Chocolate Man (perfect for Lego-mad kids), but with so much variety there's bound to be something for everyone! To sweeten the deal, the lovely team at Cocoa & Heart have provided a discount code for TWG readers. Simply apply code XMAS18 to get 10% off your order (valid until 31st Jan 2019).

Have any of my gift ideas sparked inspiration for you? If you're still struggling for ideas, why not browse small businesses online or take a trip to your town's high street and see if you can buy local this Christmas? Supporting small businesses at the most important time of year for the retail industry can be a real lifeline for independent shops struggling to compete with national chains - if we want our high streets to survive, we must all do our bit to help keep them afloat.

* I received the products mentioned above in exchange for inclusion in this gift guide
