This page informs you of The Writing Greyhound's policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information received from users of the site.

While using the site, you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal identifiable information will only include your email address (when leaving a comment) and your name.

From time to time, The Writing Greyhound will use and/or collaborate with third parties, including, but not limited to:
  • Google Analytics – I use this service to track the traffic of my site and readers. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics
  • Rafflecopter - Giveaway entrants' personal information collected through the Rafflecopter widget is held and processed by Rafflecopter. By entering giveaways on The Writing Greyhound, you agree to be bound by this policy, the rules of the particular giveaway and any applicable policies outlined by Rafflecopter. Once the winner has been announced, their personal information may be sent to the giveaway sponsor for the fulfilment of the prize (please see below)
  • Giveaway Sponsors - When I run a giveaway where the prize is fulfilled by a sponsor, the winner's personal information (name and email address) will be passed on to the sponsor to allow the prize to be fulfilled. If applicable, any winner/s will be contacted by email and made fully aware that their personal information must be provided to the individual sponsor for fulfilment of the prize

Security

The security of your personal information is important to me, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Any breaches of data will be informed within 48 hours via a notice on this website.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1st March 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

I reserve the right to update or change my Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the site after I post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

The Writing Greyhound is a personal blog, written, edited and managed by myself. This blog occasionally accepts forms of advertising, sponsorship and promotion which will always reflect the subjects covered in the content. All sponsored or collaborative content will be clearly marked at the end of the post, similarly, products or books received for review purposes will be clearly stated. However, this will not affect the honesty of any review or post. All opinions are my own and are not influenced by any form of compensation which may have been received.
