Interview: Nemra

nemra-band

Today I'm thrilled to be returning a little to my musical roots with an exclusive interview with exciting new music collaborative Nemra. Read on to find out all about the band!

Could you sum up your music in 3 words?
Heartbeat, irony, love.
Tell me a little about the band.
We are Nemra, a group of enthusiastic and dream driven musicians who live in Nemra Planet. Creating and living in the world of music is our passion which continues to grow every second. We enjoy exploring the deepest sights of things happening around and inside the universe and discovering new things, feelings, emotions and colours of life.
How did it all begin?
It was a dream; it still is a dream for us and we don't want to wake up from it.

Where is your music career at now?
If we take our music career as a train, it's already has started to move. A few years ago we were just making the rails.
What can listeners expect from you?
They can always expect new songs with strong waves of emotions close to their hearts. However, during our live performances everything unexpected is expected - even for us!

Which musicians inspire you?
John Lennon, George Harrison, John Bonham, Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, Daron Malakian, Bob Dylan, Kurt Cobain, Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Mozart.
What music do you draw inspiration from?
The music of nature inspires us the most. Catching the details of the world and becoming one with the whole of nature wakes up the undiscovered muse living within us.
What are your musical guilty pleasures?
We used to move a lot on stage, we love to jump and run while playing and that's why sometimes we play false notes, but we all love it because we know it's real - true emotions, true energy and true feelings.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?
We see us touring around the world and spreading our music in different countries and cultures.
What is your ultimate goal?
Our ultimate goal is a continuous process. We want to share our thoughts in our songs and find more and more people who think as we do, who feel as we feel.
